Adaptive Classes for Ages 4-18
GRIT Adaptive is housed in Jam Hops, and was created to expand inclusive opportunities in athletic, recreational, and social programs and events. The GRIT Adaptive Athletics program (formerly known as Alpha Athletes) provides adaptive and supported classes for youth and teens with disabilities. This program allows youth with disabilities to participate in and get the most out of our recreational classes in a group setting, or as an individual. After an Intake Form has been filled out, our staff works with guardians to help find a class that best suits their GRIT Adaptive Athlete.
Movement has many benefits for emotional, cognitive, social, and physical needs. Although GRIT Adaptive Athletes may do gymnastics, ninja, or dance in a more modified approach, they have the same aspirations for development and growth. These classes will also help increase physical strength, gross and fine motor skills, social skills, and self-confidence.
Free trials are available in all classes. CADI, CAC, and DD waivers accepted. To begin the registration process for a GRIT Adaptive Athlete class, please fill out the intake form below so we can best support your athlete. Thank you!
*GRIT Adaptive uses the customer account system of our host site, Jam Hops, for class and event registration and payment processing. All tuition and event payments are disbursed directly to GRIT Adaptive.
Beginning on February 1, 2026, a 2.69% fee will be charged on all transactions paid with a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card. This fee does not apply to American Express, Debit Cards, Cash, Check payments, or ACH/Bank Draft payments. Surcharges will be automatically listed as a separate transaction on your payment receipt in the event you pay with Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit cards.

Policies
- Tuition is billed and payments are processed at the time of registration, and the first of each month for ongoing enrollment. If there is room in a class after class start date, tuition will be prorated based on number of classes left in the month at time of enrollment.
- Withdrawal: If you need to cancel your child's enrollment with us, please contact Jam Hops Customer Care Representatives directly at 763-413-0647. They will walk you through the cancellation process and ensure everything is taken care of properly. Please note: Cancellations made after the 15th of the month prior to withdrawal will incur a $25 late withdrawal fee per family. Account credit may be issued for remaining classes during the month at the time of withdrawal depending on circumstance.
- Please note that due to the nature of the specialized GRIT Adaptive program and increased instructional support needs, we do not offer multiple class or sibling discounts for these classes.
- We offer a $50 referral incentive for any new students that you refer to Jam Hops or GRIT Adaptive who enroll in one or more of our programs. Just tell them to mention your name when they contact us.
- Participants should wear clothes they are comfortable to be active in; no buckles, snaps, or zippers for safety for movement and gymnastics classes.
- We ask that a parent or guardian stays in the building during GRIT Adaptive classes. All athletes must be picked up at the class ending time.
