Starting Pay: $17.50
Hours: 5-10 Hours/Week
Schedule is generally flexible during the day for stocking/cleaning. While schedules can be adjusted to fit availability, this role must have night and weekend availability for training and supporting Café Staff.
Position Summary:
The Café Operations Lead manages daily café operations and provides hands-on supervision and coaching for employees with disabilities. This role ensures a welcoming customer experience while maintaining a supportive work environment where employees can develop job skills and independence.

The Peer Mentor role supports café employees with disabilities by modeling workplace skills, reinforcing job expectations, and providing encouragement in a positive and inclusive work environment. The mentor works alongside café staff during daily operations, helping team members build confidence, independence, and job readiness skills.
This role combines café operations with peer mentorship to help ensure both excellent customer service and a supportive workplace for all employees.

With the GRIT Executive Director, the Lead Instructor will set priorities for prep/lesson planning that can be done on a flexible basis. This role will be scheduled for afternoon/evening shifts and weekend hours, in alignment with GRIT Adaptive classes, one-on-one recreational support class needs, and some activities/events.
Position Summary:
The Lead Instructor is responsible for supporting the GRIT Executive Director and Adaptive Athletics Instructors in planning and leading inclusive recreational classes for youth and adults with disabilities through GRIT Adaptive Athletics programs. This role ensures classes are safe, engaging, and supportive while maintaining high expectations for participation and skill development.
The Lead Instructor supervises instructors and volunteers, while modeling inclusive practices and positive behavior support.
